FirkinFresh
About

No call centres. Just the van and the kit.

Firkin Fresh started the way most good ideas do - behind the bar at a beer festival, watching someone else's racking do all the hard work, and thinking “I could do this properly, for people round here.”

We're based in Milton Keynes, and we cover the towns and villages around it - Bletchley, Stony Stratford, Wolverton, Newport Pagnell, Woburn Sands, Olney, Buckingham, Leighton Buzzard, Bedford and beyond - village halls, pub gardens, community festivals, the lot. No call centres, no subcontracted vans from three counties away. If you ring us, you're talking to the person who'll actually turn up and rig your kit.

Fully insured, PAT tested, and obsessed with getting the cooling right - because a warm pint at a beer festival is a hanging offence.

Who's behind it

Firkin Fresh is run by Joe - marketing and web bloke by day, cask ale obsessive the rest of the time. He co-manages a community pub that's picked up CAMRA awards for the beer it serves, which is really just a fancy way of saying: he knows what good cask conditioning looks like, and he's fussy about it.

That's the whole point of Firkin Fresh. Not kit bought cold off a supplier's catalogue and rented out - racking and cooling put together by someone who's spent real time behind a bar caring whether the pint in your hand is actually any good.
